Right now list of addresses must be stored in the NAMES file which is limited in length. In addition, it forces you to create a list of nicknames and then define each nickname separately so you can use full names in your mail. What I would like to see is support for using a separate file of names in say a LISTSERV format: user1@node1 Full Name 1 -- user2@node2 Full Name 2 |-- FILE1 LIST etc. -- Then when sending mail you use the list by saying MAIL FILE1 (or maybe MAIL (LIST FILE1 ) This would allow the user to keep his mailing lists separate. A possible extension might be to include only the addressees in the BSMTP header and not in the RFC822 header.
