There's been a lot of discussion about Radio Shack's DX-440, and I just recently happened to buy one ( before my access to usenet ). I've had great success at pulling in ham conversations from Florida to Canada with my wimpy indoor ( townhouse ) dipole antenna ... but have not been able to connect with any of the lately posted freq's concerning re-broadcasts of the shuttle activity.
