The purchase is reported to have cost DEC around $5.2 million Kubota, a Japanese manufacturer of computers, has also purchased MIPS stock to the tune of $9.985 million. Kubota's current share of MIPS amounts to 18 percent of the company. MIPS' shares are worth $16.37 at current trading levels.
