Jamie Black, Judson Innes and Dean Dorchak each had a goal and an assist for the Hawks, who improved their record to 14-29-2. Portland outshot the Americans 60-36 as Tri-City fell to 20-20-3 on the season. Portland plays host to Spokane Thursday night.
