I've been told this is difficult due to poor dail-up line quality and numerous phone companys in Europe. Does anybody have any experience with this? If so, could you pass along the pros/cons & do's/don'ts. One thought I had was to use Telebit modems, thinking that the PEP protocol with its error correction would eliminate the noisy line problems, while providing some reasonable through-put. Is this valid? Send me e-mail and I will summarize.
