You might try Prentice-Hall (the publisher), Tartan Laboratories, or
Carnegie-Mellon University.

S.P.H. is the co-author of what is (in my opinion) the most useful book on
C in existence.  The book "C: A Reference Manual" (2nd Edition 1987) was
published by Prentice-Hall.  Various endpapers seem to indicate that S.P.H.
is employed by Tartan Laboratories.
