Recently (?) there was a request for scaling algorithms (fitting values to 
graph axes easily and accurately), but I have not seen any responses. The
posting was by "pvdl@tnoibbc", whom I haven't been able to get mail to.
If he/she is reading this, could you please reply to me with what you found
out, or post a recap to the net? Thanx.
