IBM has an application called HCF (Host Command Facility) that is based upon theLU0 protocols.  This application is used to allow IBM 3270 to connect to remote
systems (AS400, S/3x, ...) that support the partner DHCF (Distributed HCF).  At
HP, we have a product, SNA DHCF/XL, that allows IBM 3270 displays to connect to HP3000 (XL only).  This product requires HCF be running on the IBM host.  If youneed more information on HCF's implementation on the LU 0 protocols, manuals
are available.
