I own a 512K Amiga 500 and I'm getting rather tired of getting the 'Not Enough Memory' Gurus, and therefore I decided to finally get some sort of a memory expander. I noticed that the standard 512K/Clock combos have become dirt cheap lately - (around $80 through mail), however, I want to have some space for future expansion. I have been looking at the new MINIMAX-2 from Centaur and the PRORAM 1.8 from IMTRONICS. I already know a bit about the MINIMAX-2 however, I haven't been able to find out anything about the PRORAM. My main concern is if the board is AUTOCONFIG. I would not want to purchase it and then find out that half of my software doesn't take advantage of the extra memory. (I would feel like I'd be running MS/DOS on a 1 meg machine 8-) ). If anybody out there knows anything about this board, please respond here, or dirrectly to me through Email. thanks, Bo Najdrovsky UUCP: att!mwood!attcc!bn INET: mwood!attcc!bn@ATT.ATT.COM
