So, I called microbotics and their excuse was that there is a bug in the controller in my SCSI disk which they were working around. They then said that the disk was in the mail. That was 4 weeks and 3 calls with the same response (It's in the mail or I'm putting it in the mail today). I know the mail is sometimes slow but come on! Anyway the list of disks with this problem according to microbotics is: ST296N, ST1096N, ST157N, ST277, and a Rodime I don't remember the number on. He said that there had been a recent change or something to that effect which caused this problem. I'm still waiting. So if somebody out there has figured this out let me know I'd really like to use my new hard drive. > >Thanks in advance, > >-- >-- >Kari Oinonen, studying at !
