Does anyone know when the next batch of paint programs are out? That is, Deluxe Paint IV, Digi Paint IV, Photon Paint III, etc. Also Does I've wondered how close the feature of being able to put in a light source and then "pseudo ray trace" of Photon Paint is to real ray tracing. Also, I've noted that qrt is available at cs.uoregon.edu (anonymous ftp), but there apprears to be only source code, without any hint of how to compile it. I don't know how I'll eer be able to get all the dependencies .... I don't have a mkmf. (Is there one for the amiga?). So are there any other PD ray tracing programs available out there? In the fish disks? At any anonymous ftp site? One last thing ... is there any easy way to find out what HD you have, without ripping up the computer, that is? (I bought a 2000HD in Dec, and my even though I didn't get any indication of having a 2091 inside, the HD seems to perform very well under all conditions, even under overscan - there is hardly any detioration in diskperf or any other bench test.... - and the 2090A seemed to be rather notorious in performing under overscan, due to DMA contention problems ...) Raja. By the way, is the only difference between the fatter agnus and the fat agnus in the 1 MB and 512 KB chip ram?
