I know that the DN2500 uses controller numbers like 5 & 6 for its SCSI disks. On a Dn3500 with the WD controller If you try to use unit numbers like these, you'll get: 1) Under sr10.1 $ mtvol w5:0 1 /garp ?(mtvol) The controller number specification is incorrect; legal values are '0' through '3'. Help is available. 2) Under sr10.2 $ mtvol w5:0 1 /garp ?(mtvol) Unable to mount volume - controller not found (OS/I/O manager) So it looks like either it'll already work under sr10.2 or the're planning for it.
