Now comes the important question: Do I ask for my money back (since service is bad), ask for an equivalent (which also may fail since it is the same circuit), or do I get a chance to get an 8Mhz chip using the excuse of being a dissatisfied customer for not paying the extra cash for the upgrade. I mean, do I have to pay $50 more or can I just ask for a Zip 8 since my 4 died and this is such a big inconvience. To the guy who had to wait 5 months for a chip and somehow got a Zip 8 what did you do? Did they automatically send you one out of pity (get real Dave), did you ask for one and have to pay more cash, or did you ask for one and somehow not have to dish out more money.
