I damaged a line or two removing a broken socket but managed to trace them and rewire them. Now I am having a problem with my disk drive. It appears that the data coming from the drive is getting scrambled. Disk directories list some entries properly, but others have messed up characters. I think some of them have bit 2 (the "fours" bit) stuck low. I don't have the schematics of the 130XE, so I can't even tell which chip has the problem. Data read from files was ok to start with, but now seems pretty munged. Fortunately, the problem does not seem to bother the ECI (parallel port), so my MIO still works. Any tips on what to look for would be appreciated. In case it might help, the hardware mod I did was the installation of the Turbo-816 and Turbo-OS, which seem to be working perfectly.
