Message-ID: Date: 16 Jan 90 15:42:02 GMT Sender: loki@moncam.co.uk Distribution: comp Organization: (n) The process of becoming an organ. Lines: 20 I've hunted ad nauseam for one of those twelve-pin monitor plugs/sockets. They don't seem to exist in the UK. Can *anyone* tell me where I can get them? I've rehoused my 520-ST, and I would like to take an extender lead from the old monitor socket on the motherboard to the chassis (I couldn't mount it flush to the chassis, you see). For this I need one plug and one socket. If they aren't easily attainable, can anyone offer me old ones that they no longer need (clutching at straws here I think...) Also, is it safe to extend the cartridge port with a ribbon cable of, say, six inches? What is the maximum extension likely to be? Thanx in advance. -- Harry Fearnhamm, ,---.'\ EMAIL: loki@moncam.uucp Monotype ADG, (, /@ )/ ...!ukc!acorn!moncam!loki Science Park, /( _/ ') VOICE: +44 (0)223 420018 Cambridge, \,`---' FAX: +44 (0)223 420911 CB4 4FQ, DISCLAIMER: Nothing is True.
