Once again, I have written a patch program which should be available
at the same place you bought your STE.  If it is not available, have
that dealer contact their Atari dealer support representative at
the appropriate subsidiary, and get a copy of STE_FIX.PRG.

Editing the file is not a viable solution, because that will mess up
the desktop.inf file for other STs.  The bug occurs when your STE
_reads_ the desktop.inf file.
