ALTHOUGH CHRIS DID GT>CR>SAY THEY WERE FOR VER. 2.0, THEY DO WORK. I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR ABOUT GT>CR>A YEAR. HOWEVER, THAT WAS WITH CODEBLUE (/A/V/S/C/L) AND GT>CR>***DOS 3.10A***. GT> GT> These are for v1.5. I have ***SERIOUS*** doubts that these work GT>properly on v2.0. Have you traced TC's program execution before patching GT>to determine where incompatibilities existed or have you simply applied GT>the patches blindly and observed that they work (more or less)? I mean, GT>what reason do you have for patching those portions in TC.EXE? Well, I have this article in front of me now. The patches are for TC.EXE v1.0, not v1.5 as I thought above. I also looked at TC.EXE v2.0 with DEBUG; you should do the same, Chris. You'll see that by applying these patches which were not designed for v2.0 you're changing a stack pointer, a counter, and a few other things that would appear to have NOTHING to do with Rainbow compatibility. Doing so is a ***BAD*** idea. George --- ~ EZ 1.23b4 #263 ~ The Answer? That would be telling, Number Six ------------------------------
