Seiko uses the Sony Trinitron tube, supports super-VGA autosizing (like the NEC 3D), and will automatically turn itself off when the computer shuts down!! The cheapest price I've found is $565 at FastMicro in the latest PC magazine. This monitor sounds too good to be true -- is it? I've heard about the 800x600 problems with the 1430 but I imagine this is fixed in the 1440. Please post or reply via email with any advice -- I would like to get this monitor with the ATI VGA Wonder (w/512K). -george _____________________________________________________________________ | George Browning North Carolina State University | | george@ccvr1.ncsu.edu Raleigh, NC | |___________________________________________________________________|
