I recently purchased a copy of Word Perfect 5.1 (the educational
edition for what it's worth) and had difficulties installing it.
I was able to reach the final stages of installation where you type
in your serial number and found my system hanging and refusing 
keyboard input. I (eventually) Word Perfect and was told that version
5.1 has problems with "certain" expanded memory drivers (I have
SEMS.SYS). I was told to run using WP /NE . I managed to complete
the install of printers by removing the driver from config.sys (at
which point my system thinks I have neither extended or expanded 
memory) and rerunning the last stages of install. I also find I
cannot use Sidekick with Word Perfect 5.1- I have no idea if this
is the usual case, since I'm new to WP. Ron Sidwell
