I would like to add 64Kb chunks of memory at various locations in the 1Mb of memory addressable in the conventional way on my 640Kb 14/10 MHz At. I have such a board for my PC and am curious if any exist for AT's. I would like to add 64Kb at: A000H to boost the memory available for DOS to 704Kb. I have both mono and CGA adapters so they won't conflict with that 64Kb. I have been running such a setup on a PC for many years with also both types of monitor. It is not too difficult to write a dummy device driver that takes care of letting DOS know about that extra 64Kb. C000H so I can modify a number of my TSR's to load there. I also disassembled DOS' ANSI.SYS to include 132/40 support and remove snow delay for my CGA. It will be simple to have it also load in there. I'll also compare speed of EDISK.SYS and VDISK.SYS and decide which one is worth disassembling and moving up there. Please, if anybody knows of such a board, let me know. As usual, I'll summarize if enough interest is shown. Thank you. Francois '
