Canada Lines: 24 I am attempting to use C-Kermit on a Sun to transfer files to and from a remote Mac, without success. I use RedRyder to dial up the UNIX site, going via a net transfer from an MTS account because only the MTS has datapac and the regular phone is long distance. (Because of all this I have to say I'm an LA120 terminal!) Once on the UNIX account, I can do some things, but not others -- worry about that another time. I fire up Kermit on the remote (Sun) and tell it Send MyFile, then pull down receive Kermit on the RedRyder menu. A dialog box flashes briefly on the screen with the message that the first block (or segment, or whatever) is/has been transferred successfully, and then just as quickly a new box comes up informing me that the file transfer was unsuccessful. I click OK (nothing else to do) and get to watch the remote Kermit put various characters on my screen for a while, then finally give up. What obvious (to all of you) thing am I doing wrong -- or is it the roundabout way I get there that causes the problem.
