These are the options that netters suggested to me for getting TIFF format 
files into a PICT format, so I could edit them using a Mac drawing program:

o  Canvas 2.0 --- does this plus a whole whole lot more, ~$170 mail order

o  DeskPaint/DeskDraw DA --- ~$65 mail order --- what we're going with, cause 
   the price is right

o  the Giffer and Vision Lab (PD or shareware, I'm not sure) 
   were also suggested
