Austin, Tx Lines: 19 I want max bang/buck in a reasonable quality drive for my Mac+. I could buy a Jasmine Direct Drive 40 for about $599, or get a PowerDrive80 (!) by mail for $588. Please enlighten me as to: 1. The service level of Hard Drives International and Mac Land (Mac User ads on pp. 291-2 and 284-7, Feb. 1990). 2. The relative merits of the Power Drive 80 (a Seagate mech) from one of these sources vs. the more expensive and better waranteed Quantum mechanisms. I'll summarize; thanks. -- Todd Bridges, M88000 Development ...!cs.utexas.edu!oakhill!toddb Motorola, Inc., 6501 William Cannon Dr. W, Austin, TX 78735-8598 Me (512) 891-3227 Fax (512) 891-3818 Mail Stop TX30/OE215 My opinions are not necessarily the offical dogma of Motorola.
