Summary: where can I find the information

I have just got access to the NeXT, but I could not get access to
the manuals (not yet!).
Now I need some technical information on the next ADC.
1. What is the spec. of the ADC (# of bits, sampling rate etc.)
   How is the quality ?
2. File format of the stored digitized signal.
   e.g. MSB LSB or LSB MSB ... etc.

Where can I find info for this stuff ? books ?
