Wanted: contact with people doing research on graphical editors / generation of editors for languages with graphical syntax / User Interface design based on graphical specification Have: here at SICS we have (among others things) one project on generation of graphical editors (syntax/structure oriented) and one on designing user interfaces using graphical specification. We have so far implemented two tools, one called LOGGIE which is a generator of graphical editors = you enter a specification of the language (abstract syntax plus concrete syntax) and you get an graphical (= pictures) editor for the language. We have so far designed two editors, one for CCS (= you draw automata) and one for G-LOTOS (= Graphical LOTOS). The other system is called YAFFY and is something like hypercard for the Medley system (= a system for designing dialog boxes). Both systems are of course written in Medley. ---BjornB Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS)
