As for the tech ref, if you get a handle on that, I'm REALLY interested. I think I have an open connection in the wiring to the External Disk Drive connector, and I really don't want to take the trouble to open the beast up without SOME sort of paperwork ('specially since I have kluged a way around the problem for now). I'll re-ask a previous question: has anybody hooked up an external 5" drive to this laptop?
