The current terminfo entry for flash is ^G, but I'm tired of the beep. I'd like to have somthing similar to my vt220 flash. Unfortunately there is now way to switch the whole screen to invers and back as in vt220 mode on my terminal. Does anyone has an idea? Maybe something with changing the background color?
