However, whenever I try to run the gdb executable that is produced, I get segmentation faults. Has anyone out there succeeded in getting GDB 3.4 (or even an earlier version) to run properly under 386/ix? It seems that GDB 3.4 supports the Sys V 3.2 on a 386 platform; perhaps peculiarities in 386/ix are responsible. Please reply by mail to karp-brad@cs.yale.edu, as I don't always get to read this newsgroup. I'll summarize any replies that I receive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | Brad Karp | DISCLAIMER: | | Internet: karp-brad@cs.yale.edu | The views expressed in the text | | FidoNet: 141/111 | you have just perused are not | | US SnailMail: P.O.
