Message-ID: <1990Jan17.071728.20958@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu> Date: 17 Jan 90 07:17:28 GMT Reply-To: micky@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu (Micky Liu) Organization: Columbia University Lines: 16 I am experiencing some problems using the chroot() system call under 386/ix v2.0.? The problem that I am experiencing is that the system call does not execute as expected and does not return a useful error number upon failure. When running as root, if I do somthing like: chroot("/tftp"); root is unchanged, but the return value indicates success. Has anyone else run into this problem? Workarounds?
