We are considering replacing our 11/780 dinosaurs with MicroVaxes (probably
3400's).  One of our 11/780 is currently running 4.3BSD Unix, and I'm getting
quotes for a 3400 running Ultrix.  I have some intuitive feelings for the
advantages and disadvantages of Ultrix compared with other flavors of Unix, but
I would like to get some sounder info.

So I am requesting any info that contrasts Ultrix with other such Unixs.  Any
info is welcome, but I would appreciate if the informant would qualify the
information as anectdotal, fact, etc.

Please send email, I'll summarize - I don't want to start what I assume would
be yet another round of "Ultrix wars" (I'm not a frequent reader of this
group).
