I've been told by a DEC rep that SoftPC works with X windows. Does anyone know if graphics programs will work? If graphics, which ones? (VGA? EGA? CGA? Hercules? Monochrome?) Do all DOS programs work or there are some that don't? (It seems to me that with a software emulation, you should be able to get 100% compatibility. If not, why not? I understand that some things might be real sloooow.) We've looked at Sun's DOS Windows 1.0 and it's a lot cheaper than DEC's solution, but it doesn't work with X. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill Mitchell whm@sunquest.com Sunquest Information Systems sunquest!whm@arizona.edu 930 N.
