I need to have transparent, BSD-style network printing from a 4.3 BSD
machine to a System V machine.  Has anyone out there hacked a daemon
for System V which listens at the internet socket used by lpd (515)
and services print requests by handing them off to the local daemon?
One way service, BSD->SysV only, is needed.

If anyone has any code which does anything analagous with other
services, I would also be interested.

I have something of a time crunch on this (as usual!!).
