At times when accessing the hard drive partition C: or D: I get a "Device not Ready" error with an "abort retry cancel" message. At this point I can tell it to retry, and it will work just fine. This has happened only twice while running windows programs, but will almost always will happen when I go to a Dos program, especially jumping to command.com (dos 3.3). Trying to compile a program, or unzip a file will bring about 3 or 4 of these errors in 20 or so file accesses. Nauseating. I have never seen this error in any other program. Only in Windows...
