I compared the new idraw with an old X11R3 idraw running on the same machine and it obviously appeared that the new one is slower. I guess something went wrong when I compiled the new one but I can't find what. As I didn't compile the old one myself, I don't have any experience and can't compare. I have g++1.36.1 installed on my machine, and I compiled step by step strictly following the README file. The only significant thing I had to fix during the compilation was that CC could not find installed/lib/SUN4/libgnulib.a. In fact I linked the /usr/local/lib/gcc-gnulib to this file and it seemed to work, but I don't know which file is really expected there. Is there anyone out who could give me any advice or info?
