I am running Sun OS 4.0.3 and I've just compiled the R4 using gcc
(1.36) and I get the following when I start up X using startx script.

XIO:  fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "unix:0.0"
      after 3 requests (2 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

      after 3 requests (2 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
      The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.
XIO:  fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "unix:0.0"
      after 18 requests (17 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
      The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.
xinit:  connection to X server lost.
      The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.

Any ideas what this means?
