I have recently compiled xrooms and I have found a (very small)
problem:

in the file utils/utils.h, I had to add the line 

#include <alloca.h>

before the line referring to "alloca" ( line # 81), otherwise it gave
me linkage errors.

Machine: SUN SPARCStation, SunOS 4.0.3c Beta 1.2
