Gnews then refuses to access the article. I am using Gnews 2.0 with nntp access to the news. Anybody an idea? (I hope somebody is reading this group - I never have seen a message.) I'm afraid that Gnews is pretty much an orphan. I wanted to try and support it in terms of bugfixes, etc., but I don't have time since my advisor expects me to actually finish my dissertation someday. I set Matthew Wiener up with an account here so he could work on a new version of Gnews, and he logged in a few times, but he seems to have stopped (last login on Oct 2). I fear he is under the same kind of pressure that I am. So, Gnews will probably receive no work except that of it's users. I will act as a central "official" patch releaser if people want to send me fixes to 2.0.
