Unfortunately, this is still broken, even in 2.11.1.  Hopefully we'll
be able to fix for either the next patch or the next release (whichever
comes first).

In the meantime, this is an OLD version of gawk.  Get 2.11.1 from
prep.ai.mit.edu or osu-cis; you want it, you really do.
