Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) in Maryland has the answer. BWI recently installed five visual paging monitors in which all verbal announcements are typed for hearing impaired people to read. If you're running late to pick someone up at BWI (like my daughter frequently is), just call (301)857-7227 v/TDD to request a visual page for the HI person. More information about the new visual paging system is available in a free brochure from: Marketing and Development Ofice, BWI Airport, P.O.Box 8766, Baltimore, MD 21240-0766. [from: SHHH News] Wouldn't it be nice if all airports offered this convenience? A D V O C A T E !!!!! Jack. ...
