If it is because he is to low to the equiptment if he is seated when working, then there are some specialty wheelchairs that can raise him to the height he would be standing. These specialized chairs are battery operated and have lifts built into the seats that can raise a person quite high, there are also specialized chairs and standing equipment that will hold and support a person in a standing position. If this is the problem let me know and I will give you the manufacturers numbers of this type of equipment.
