Thank You Barbara for your reply. The Information that you have given me 
will be a great help. Allen is only considered as a PRE-KENDER student 
because of his birth date. So he has two more years before he is of age 
for the first grade.  I hope that I , as a parrent , will be able to help 
prepare him for school.  Not having any traning or know how , as an 
educator or any ascociation with the blind , has somewhat placed me at a 
great dissadvantage. So I am always in search of reliable information and 
input from anyone who is willing to comment.

I just had a thought , for you are anyone who would like to comment, 
wouldn't it be nice if there was an echo for educators and other 
professionals that deal with the handicap ?
