What an accurate statement! For this reason, I'm making a TTY with both modem AND TTY capability in it. The problem is that the guy making it is very busy at work and will get around to it in his holidays. It is very simple, and should be quite cheap. Compromises of a monitor and IBM style keyboard, and an external serial port. Computer is inside monitor and runs off monitor power. When its finished, I'm thinking of sending some units out to some of you over in America for testing. See what you think. BUT! I NEEEEEEEEED THE AMERICAN SPECIFICATIONS FOR THEIR WEIRD TTY STANDARDS! PLEASE SOMEONE, TELL ME THE BAUD RATE, THE FREQUENCIES AND THE DB LEVELS, ETC ETC! FULL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS! Both American and International specifications please, but clearly define which is which! Now, is Ron up to the challenge? (heh heh) Also, any people interested in being a demo'er? It wont be for quite a while yet, since its gotta be made, by him, and programmed by me! And no, I'm not that bad a programmer! -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!3!681!853.1!Stephen.White Internet: Stephen.White@p1.f853.n681.z3.fidonet.org
