This is the final call for votes for the creation of the newsgroup
rec.arts.startrek.info.

This newsgroup will be moderated by Jim Griffith <griffith@scam.Berkeley.EDU>
and will devoted to Star Trek related articles that can be unambigously
classified as informational.  Please direct newsgroup submissions to
trek-info@scam.Berkeley.EDU, rather than to Jim's personal account.

Acceptable articles will generally fall into one of the following categories:

    * Convention announcements
    * Program guides
    * Program synopses and credit listings
    * Schedule listings
    * Station and air time listings
    * Convention post-mortem summaries
    * Announcements of new Star Trek related products and services

These are only guidelines; the moderator makes the final decision
whether to accept or reject a given submission.

Send votes to kjones@talos.uu.net, or kyle@xanth.cs.odu.edu if the first
address fails.  State clearly whether you are in favor of the creation
of rec.arts.startrek.info or against it.  The voting period ends
12:01am, 24 January 1990.
