UUNET's disk containing /usr/spool/uucp died at 00:30 EST, Wednesday 1/17.

It had to be totally replaced.

The filesystem was restored from the 10:30am, Tuesday 1/16 dump.  This
will result in some duplicate transmissions.

Mail received at uunet between 10:30am on Tuesday and 00:30 and on
Wednesday may or may not have been delivered. If it was important,
please resend it.
