I would like to call for discussion the creation of a new newsgroup for
users of Alliant computers.  I propose that the name of the newgroup be
comp.sys.alliant and that it be unmoderated.

Discussion and comments should be completed no later than 1 February at
which time, if there appears to be sufficient interest, I will call for a
vote.
