Why? What happend? Does this >mean I can no longer read this group? There's another possibility, in addition to what others have said. This happens to me all the time: I'm using a Sun, and I leave 'rn' running all day. Sometimes when new news is received from outside, 'rn' chokes and marks ALL my newsgroups as bogus. The only solution I've found is to copy my .newsrc to a temporary file, quit 'rn', and copy the temp file back to .newsrc. It's rather annoying, but it beats using 'nn'! :-) -- ---------------------------------------------------+--------------------------- In times like these, it helps to recall that there | Steve King (708) 991-8056 have always been times like these. | ...uunet!motcid!king (Paul Harvey) | ...ddsw1!palnet!stevek
