That is, something is substituting the existing header when I send the article. I recently put a NEWSHEADER in my .login file to correct the wrong default Reply-To: line, but this is not the problem, since when I went back to the old .login file, I still couldn't overide the Subject: line. I suspect there are some funny characters I should put in the "Subject:" portion of my NEWSHEADER to allow me to change it, so here is what is there now: Subject: %(%S=^$?%"\n\nSubject: and it continues in this vein off the end of my screen when I do a "more" on .login--I don't know how to turn the \n into new lines using "more".
