Seems they got tired of strange ticks and talking coming out of every piece of picovolt sensitive equipment. But, NBS was happy, too. Old station was a mess; nobody still there had any idea where most of the wires went, and those who did know tended to be just across the Memorial Bridge or in similar abodes.
