It has been pointed out by knowledgeable people that COBOL
code accounts for 75% of the world's software. To suggest
that someone convert that to C++ or even Eiffel is ludicrous.
Not to apply object-oriented approaches would also be a
bad thing.

Always use the right tool for the job (said by too many
people to actually credit it to one).
