Message-ID: <9001191220.AA22587@jade.berkeley.edu> Date: 18 Jan 90 15:36:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Reply-To: Forth Interest Group International List Organization: The Internet Lines: 18 Greetings... I have just finished reading the OLIS comForth info file... Does anyone out there use comForth? If you do, would you tell me why you chose that implementation over FPC or F83? I realize comForth has some very interesting features, like the application generator, but can they be easily implemented in FPC? I have just purchased a 286-16 machine, and I am having a hard time deciding on the bes implementation... My work involves application generation, so comForth sounds pretty good, but I am not sure about the legal implications of their license agreement, and of course, if implementing the best features of comForth is not difficult in FPC or F83, I'd rather stick with the latter ones (83 standard is not of the utmost importance, but would be nice). Any other suggestions? Thanks! --- Jan (Yahn) Zawadzki INET: yahn@midget.towson.edu Bitnet: s72uzaw @ TOWSONVX ---
